Professional Perun Gear ammunition case – size L (NATO standard), designed for the safe storage and transport of 118 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition. It is purpose-built for PRS and Long Range shooting, where bullet protection, environmental control, and full ballistic consistency are critical. The case is compatible with ammunition up to 100 mm overall length (OAL).
The body is based on a sealed Panaro MAX case (Made in Italy), widely used in industrial and military applications. It provides complete protection against water, dust, impacts, and pressure changes. IP67, ATA300, STANAG 4280, and DEF STAN 81-41 (NATO standard) certifications confirm its status as professional-grade transport equipment, including suitability for air transport.
The case has external dimensions of 258 × 243 × 117 mm, offering an optimal balance between high capacity and convenient transport to the range and competitions.
The interchangeable insert uses a no-contact system that stabilizes the cartridge exclusively on the case body—the bullet does not touch any surface. This eliminates the risk of micro-damage, deformation, or unwanted influence on ballistic coefficient (BC) and group consistency. The insert can be fully removed and replaced with another caliber-specific insert within the Perun Gear system.
Once removed, the insert also functions as a reloading tray, allowing cases to be positioned neck-up during powder charging without the need to transfer them to separate trays. This creates a cohesive workflow: transport – reloading – storage.
An integrated digital thermometer and hygrometer allow continuous monitoring of ammunition storage conditions, which has a real impact on maintaining stable ballistic performance, especially in long-range shooting.
